"Baby Cherish"
One of a Kind
At 15" tall, "Baby Cherish" is such a sweetheart.
I created her from curly mohair in a soft ivory color.
For her paw pads, I did a trapunto technique with the soft pink ultrasuede, then scuplted and shaded the paw pads.
I stitched "Baby Cherish" a perle cotton nose.
Then I added hand-blown glass eyes that I painted with starburst and amber for a beautiful effect.
A white eye accent and shading adds more detail.
Then I carefully trimmed and sculpted her facial details.
"Baby Cherish" has an "open mouth" design with a pink ultrasuede tongue.
She appears to be laughing and smiling with you!
She is fully jointed and ready to pose.
I have filled her with my combination of polyester polyfil and pellets for a nice weight and feel.
"Baby Cherish" wears a vintage baby bib with an embroidered bunny and floral design in sweet pastel shades.
She wears a pink satin bow in her hair.
"Baby Cherish" will come to you signed on her paw pad.
For authenticity, she wears a laminated hang tag listing her details.
It is my wish that "Baby Cherish" makes you smile whenever you see her displayed in your home.
I created her by myself, with my own patterns, in my quaint, smoke-free home in the country.
