"Baby Charlene"
One of a Kind
With her arms outspread, "Baby Charlene" is ready for a big hug.
She is 15" tall.
I created her from a dark-backed beige mohair for her face and body combined with a dark-backed antique rose mohair for her arms and legs.
For her sweet face, I stitched a warm brown perle cotton nose.
Then I added hand-blown glass eyes with expressive white accents.
I gave her an "open mouth" design so that she can smile for you!
With attention to detail, her facial features were sculpted and shaded to perfection.
"Baby Charlene" has paw pads that I used a tranpunto technique and then added sculpting and shading. This process is more tedious, but the result is beautiful.
She is fully jointed and ready to pose.
I have filled her with my combination of polyfil and pellets with a
steel shot filled pillow in her tush.
"Baby Charlene" wears a vintage crocheted baby bib with satin ribbon trim.
She comes to you signed on her paw pad.
For authenticity, I give her a laminated hang tag listing her details.
It is my wish that "Baby Charlene" makes you smile whenever you see her displayed in your home.
I created her by myself, with my own patterns, in my quaint, smoke-free home in the country.
